Nantes Castle "Château des ducs de Bretagne" is one of the most need to see monument while visiting Nantes.

To find it: Take the tram line 1 and stop at "Duchesse Anne". 

 It is open: on Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Be aware that it is closed on Monday.

Price Admission to the museum and the temporary exhibitions are 5€ for people between 18-25 years old and 8€ otherwise. ​But on the first Sunday of every month (except July and August) and during major events (Heritage days, Museum at night, Nuit du VAN), the admission to the museum and the temporary exhibitions is free.

You can visit it alone with an audioguide for 2€ or book online a Guide for 7,50€ if you are 18-25 years old and 12€ otherwise. 

You will need around 2-3 hours to visit all.
